'We're very excited to strengthen our relationship with Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort and imminently extend our partnership into the mobile space,' Kristian Nylén, CEO of Kambi, said in the release. Under the new agreement, Oaklawn plans to expand its sports betting operations. Malta-based Kambi began handling Oaklawn's on-site sportsbook last year through a partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated. 'We look forward to delivering the best online sports wagering experience in Arkansas.' 'Oaklawn has been one of the most trusted brands in Arkansas for more than 100 years and we are excited to now offer our loyal customers yet another great amenity with our much-anticipated mobile wagering platform,' Wayne Smith, Oaklawn's general manager, said in a news release. The betting platform will launch under the brand 'Oaklawn Sports.' No launch date was announced, but Oaklawn has been aiming to start accepting wagers before football season kicks off. Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs has announced that its on-site sports betting partner Kambi Group PLC will also provide services for its online sportsbook.
